Born in San Juan, Metro Manila, and living in the U.S. since 2005, he draws from a global perspective that connects precision with emotion. A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in English and a concentration in Creative Writing: Poetry, Martin approaches imagery as language — where light, tone, and form tell stories words cannot.
He began photographing at fifteen, and his work has since evolved across editorial, lifestyle, and e-commerce art direction. Early in his career, he served as Creative Director and later Editor-in-Chief of Scarlet Magazine, Rutgers-Newark’s first modern publication, merging his dual passions for visual and written storytelling.
Martin’s past collaborations include Grey Goose, Stella Artois, Converse, Bonobos, Visit Philadelphia, and Honeygrow. He currently leads the Photo Studio at Snipes USA, where he continues to refine how brands communicate authenticity through image.
